Connectivity for machines

M2M and IoT SIM cards with static private IP

Managed connectivity for routers, controllers, meters and field devices — from the first SIM to a complete fleet.

Device SIMs

Data connectivity rather than consumer services

M2M SIMs are intended for long-term use in devices and for data transmission. IoT M2M combines them with a private APN, static addressing and status and usage supervision.

The SIMs can work in industrial routers, modems, meters and telemetry devices. Selection depends on radio technology, location and the amount of data transferred.

Private APN

SIMs operate in a separated network instead of directly on the public internet.

Multi-operator

Improved field coverage through access to multiple networks.

Fleet control

Supervision of activation, status and data usage.

Difficult locations

NB-IoT for underground infrastructure and metering

NB-IoT can improve connectivity in locations that need better signal penetration, such as underground infrastructure and enclosed metering sites.

The technology must be supported by both the device and an available network. Before deployment, we check modem compatibility, coverage and the required transmission profile.

  1. Identify the device, modem and available radio technologies.
  2. Estimate data volume and communication frequency.
  3. Select the SIM, APN, addressing and fleet management approach.
  4. Test connectivity at the target location before scaling.
Operations

SIM activation and supervision handled by BREPO

BREPO handles SIM activation, replacement and supervision within an IoT M2M project. The client gets one partner for connectivity, the private network and integration with either the platform or client infrastructure.

Packages, technology availability and commercial terms are selected individually. This page does not claim unconfirmed eSIM, LTE-M or 5G capabilities.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can an M2M SIM have a static IP address?

Yes. In a private APN, the device can receive a static private IP address.

What does multi-operator mean?

A SIM can use more than one available network according to its service profile and local coverage.

Does NB-IoT work underground?

NB-IoT is designed for an improved link budget, but availability must be confirmed through coverage and device compatibility tests.

Can deployment start with one SIM?

Yes. A first device can be launched and the fleet expanded after testing.
